Brazil Iron Ore Beneficiation Process
It is well known that Brazil has rich mineral resources, especially for iron, nickel, manganese, bauxite, tin and so on. The proven reserves of iron ore in Brazil are about 33.3 billion tons, ranks the fifth place in the whole world. Since iron is the necessary metal in industries, has wide applications, so every year, many Brazil customers consult SBM for iron ore beneficiation equipment. In this article, we mainly talk about the iron ore beneficiation line our engineer designed for a Brazil customer in 2010.
This customer contacted our company in the end of 2010, and said that he just got the permission of exploiting an iron mine, so he wanted to set up a complete iron ore beneficiation process. After confirming the specific requirements of the customer, the engineer designed a complete beneficiation line for him. In this line, there was jaw crusher, cone crusher, vibrating screen, ball mill, magnetic separator, belt conveyor, feeder etc.
In this line, jaw crusher is the primary crushing equipment to crush the bulk iron ore into smaller particles. Cone crusher is the secondary crusher to crush the particles into suitable sizes to enter the ball mill. Here we suggest cone crusher instead of impact crusher is because iron ore has high hardness, if we use impact crusher to process iron ore, the main crushing parts will easily wears. Vibrating screen is used to grade and separate the crushed iron ore. Ball mill is for grinding the iron ore into proper sized powder and magnetic separator is for upgrading.
As we can see, there are various machines in the above iron ore beneficiation processing line. SBM provide various types and models of these machines, and our engineer will recommend suitable model and customize the processing line according to the situation of the customers.
