Impact Crusher And Cone Crusher For Stone

Impact crusher and cone crusher can both used as secondary crusher in stone processing line. But their features and working principles are different.

In this article, we mainly talk about the comparison between impact crusher and cone crusher for stone process.

Comparison Of Impact Crusher And Cone Crusher For Stone

Here we focus on the sameness and differences between impact crusher and cone crusher.

Sameness

  • 1.Impact crusher and cone crusher can both be used as secondary and fine crusher in stone processing.
  • 2.They both have wide applications in mining, transportation, energy, construction and chemical industry etc.
  • 3.They both introduce advanced crushing technology from abroad and combine experience and research of SBM engineers.

Differences

  • 1.The working principles of these two crushers are different. Impact crusher crushes materials with impact force while cone crusher crushes materials with extrusion force.
  • 2.These two crushers are suitable for different types of raw materials. Impact crusher is suitable for medium hard or soft materials with compression strength below 360Mpa while cone crusher is particularly suitable for crushing hard or super hard materials with compression strength below 350Mpa.
  • 3.The main crushing parts of these two crushers are different. The main crushing part in impact crusher is blow bar and impact plate. The main crushing part in cone crusher is the concaves and mantle.
  • 4.The final product size adjustment devices of the two crushers are different. In impact crusher, the size and shape of the final product can be changed by adjusting the gap between the impact rack and rotor. In cone crusher, the final product size can be adjusted automatic.
