Sri Lanka Mica Powder Production Line

In 2012, a customer contacted our online operator and said he came from Sri Lanka and wanted to set up a complete mica powder making line. After confirming the capacity, the input& output size, the working site, the moisture content of the mica and some other factors, our engineer designed a complete line consist of jaw crusher, elevator, dryer, ultrafine mill, vibrating feeder for him.

Since his raw mica was too big to enter the ultrafine mill directly, so we designed a small jaw crusher before grinding. And he told our engineer that moisture content of his mica is high, so we suggested a dryer to dry the mica particles before grinding. Because the customer needed final mica powder with 800mesh, so we recommended our XZM ultrafine mill with fineness can be adjusted between 325-2500mesh.

At first, we use the feeder to feed the raw mica into jaw crusher in order to crush the mica into proper sizes to enter the ultrafine mill. And then send the crushed mica to the dryer. After drying, send the mica to the ultrafine mill by elevator. After being ground in the ultrafine mill, we can get mica powder.

Besides ultrafine mill, SBM also provides vertical grinding mill, trapezium mill, ball mill, hammer mill etc. These mills can all be used to process mica. But the working principles and features are different. Experienced engineers from SBM will recommend suitable model and design proper plant according to the requirements of the customers.
